Harmony Road Music School

Introduce your child to the wonderful world of music! Music and movement classes for toddlers and preschoolers include a variety of activities: singing, movement, finger games, playing with rhythm instruments, activities w/balls, scarves, and hoops, and rocking/cuddling songs. A parent participates in all classes.

Group piano classes are for children ages PreK - 12 years and involve the parent in each weekly class. Activities include singing (both solfege and expressive), ear training, rhythm and keyboard ensembles, keyboard solo repertoire, note reading, and composing. Recitals are twice a year.

New classes begin in September, January, and June.

The photo shows me using biofeedback to teach a patient how to regain bladder control without drugs or surgery. I do this in a gynecology office (first URL below) which is important, because half of women have this problem. But most of my professional time is spent helping families keep their older members at the highest level of independence, using community resources. I visit them in their home or wherever they are, including hospital and nursing home rooms. I charge for that since I'm not a government agency, but I also facilitate a free monthly support group for caregivers. For fun, I'm a member of Green Thumb Garden Club and KIPUG, a group for computer users.
