We have had 2 company events for employee birthday parties out at John's. We had a great time at both events! Thank you for doing a great job for the kids.

This place is a hidden secret. I just recently discovered this place and have found the food here is great, also the service is exceptionally friendly. I will definitely be back.

I've been going here for years since the old Goose Loonies and I can say that this location is even better than the last one. The service was great and not to mention very friendly. When we received our food the plate was unexpectedly decorated and amazing to taste, truly authentic Greek food. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back for many years to come.

Great food and prices but our waitress was horrible, She was a hispanic girl who was too busy talking to the bar tender and not getting our drinks. We had to flag her down every time we wanted refills. When we got our food we didnt have silverware. Horrible service............. .............

Wings Pizza N Things Sports Grill
The place was filled with gangster types and the staff was completely rude. I couldn't imagine a worse dining experience outside of the streets of Fallujah. Food was tasteless at best and the inside was very dirty.

How any one could give this place even one star is beyond me. The place is dirty. The food so so and the help rude. There is something else going on in there.......and it ain't food and a good time. Unless a gang biker, stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!

I walked intio this place and thought I was going to get shot by a gang member! For a southwest location, this place is full of thugs. Flat Beer and crappy wings. Bartender was happy to help her thug buddies but nobody else. Dont waste your time on the terrible place. I give them another 6 months before they are gone. Try T-Bones or the Fire House next door. much better environment.

The Best in Bakersfield!! Nuff Said! :)

This was my first time at Goose Loonies since they re-opened in the new location. Loved the last Goose Loonies. This one.....is extremely lacking. Food is expensive and completely not worth the price. Staff is rude. Spent quite a bit of money there and left unhappy. Would not recommend to ANYONE. In fact, when we were leaving some gentlemen were coming in and we warned them. I bet they're grateful they turned around and went elsewhere!

My family loves Tony's Pizza. This is always their first choice.

We stumbled upon this place while looking for a another restaurant in the same mall. We were pleasantly surprised by our visit. The food was fresh and hot and the service was excellent. I had a calzone ($6.99) and my husband had the chicken parmesean (this comes with spagetti and garlic bread for $7.99). Buffalo wings were great as well at .39 cents each. We took a cheese pizza home to the kids. It was okay...Not as good as say Cataldo's but pretty good. We would have ordered the timamisu but t...

This is the only bakery in town that offers fresh ground wheat bread. The taste and nutrition are far superior to the products of any other bread-making bakeries. It's the only place I buy bread anymore.

This place is horrible! Not only is the owner a distgusting man who sexually harrasses his female staff in front of customers he's rude to customers! The dining room has so many light bulbs burned out you can barely see your food, and watch out if they turn on the ceiling fans you may get a huge clump of dust in your soup from the 3 inches thick of dust laying on the fan blades, horrible! I saw a red head girl working there standing out front smoking a cigarette then go inside and grab some b...

Great value and yummy pizza. I really like the folks that run this East Side Pizza Parlor. This can be a very busy place so call ahead or be prepared to wait.

I gave Bob's the MAX because their Sicilian style pan pizza is my favorite in Bako. It is a little pricey but worth it. Can't really say much about the other selections because I found a pizza I really enjoy and don't want to change. I was aware that the original Bob is now in East Hills Mall but I have noticed no difference in my pizza. Keep up the good work!

Last year my daughter and I went to eat here for the first time. The food was so overcooked (steak and shrimp) that it was not even slightly edible. We refused to eat it and the waitress only gave me back half the price of the dinners. I called and called the manager to no avail for months, during which time they also charged my credit card twice for the dinner. Finally I spoke with a gentleman who said this had happened to several people and he would talk to the manager, but I never ...

Dirty. I didn't notice any letter grade posted..isn't that a requirement? There was something gross in my water glass.. the silverwear had something stuck on it and the napkin dirty that they were wrapped in. I didn't want to be rude and leave since I was dining with others, but I wish I had. I had something poke me from my hasbrowns. The giant pancake was kind of cool, but basically tasted like bisquick. Food not very special.. my husband had gone before and said it was a lot better before.....

A fantastic experience! After reading the Californians article Saturday, we decided to give Sandrini's a try. We're glad we got there early, as the evening wore on it became quite crowded - a testament to a good restaurant. We were greeted and seated immediately and our host took our drink order. Our server arrived with our drinks and some wonderful fresh home made bread. We started with an Antipasto Plate and ordered the Cannelloni and rack of lamb, some great Basque cabbage soup and the hous...

After my post on 8/9/10, I said I'd never be back, but ran into their booth at Village Fest. WOW! The taco was great. Perhaps I'll give them a second chance. :)

I've been going here for the past 15 or more years. I love the food and the service is great, too. The waiters/waitresses are also great and very friendly.

This is one of the best mexican restaurants in Bakersfield, CA. Their food is always great and their waiters/waitressess are always friendly. The service is great, too!

Rice Bowl Chinese Restaurant has the BEST ORANGE CHICKEN I've ever had. Everyone there is always very friendly and the service is good. My only complaint would be they are not very "handicap-frien dly" because they would not allow me to sit in my wheel chair while sitting at the table. The owner said the wheel chair was a health code violation because it blocked people from getting by me. In my opinion, there was plenty of room to get around me. They allowed me to sit in my wheel chair...

I have lived in Bakersfield since 1981 and I really loved The Pantry especially their great baked potato's. The people who worked there were always very friendly and I was sad to see that it shut down more than a year ago. I imagine it closed because of the current condition of our economy; so sad!

I would love to know WHY the Pantry closed? I thought it was a great little place to take my 93 year old father-n-law for breakfast. He loved it and so did a lot of the local people. We live right around the corner on Oleander Ave so it was very close to us and we loved the small vintage feel about it. Does any know if it will ever open again? Do you think the owners would sell? I would love to buy it and re open it in the same vintage style of the 60's. Thanks for any help.....
